- A free or basic tier must not be deliberately made unsafe to push paid upgrades.
- Financial vulnerability or lack of alternatives must not itself justify a higher price.
- Sponsored access should be possible without assuming that sponsors can access users' personal data.
- Local affordability may require different pricing structures around the world; those differences must be transparent and defensible.
